Someone kindly recommended it to me as an easy protein substitute I can have with pasta. Meatballs etc don't fill me up enough. I've never made it but I'm gonna get some, any tips?
My tip would be to not only make seitan, you can make tons of things from gluten and other ingredients. Nuggets, pepperoni, “blood” sausage, sausages…
Also, I would suggest you to try textured soy protein (it comes in different sizes for different uses) if you haven’t try it. It is great, versatile and filling. There is also textured pea protein, btw, but I’ve found its properties vary a lot depending on the format, so for starters soy seems more reliable.
