High Noon recalls vodka drinks mislabeled as Celsius
Oops!
High Noon is recalling some of its vodka seltzer drinks because they were mislabeled as nonalcoholic Celsius energy drinks, according to a recall notice posted Wednesday by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).High Noon is recalling two production lots of High Noon Beach Variety packs. Some of these 12-can packs have cans that are filled with High Noon vodka seltzer alcohol and are mislabeled as “CELSIUS® ASTRO VIBE™ Energy Drink, Sparkling Blue Razz Edition” with a silver top.
Setting aside that High Noon should clearly be a THC seltzer, this is the most plausible excuse for a DWI I've heard of. "But officer, I only had two energy drinks."

This is even more concerning. While I'm not a fan of energy drinks, I don't think people drinking them should become unknowingly inebriated. There's also people who avoid alcohol for religious reasons, health reasons, etc.
This fuck up was pretty unacceptable.
Would be less concerning if it was the other way around, with energy drink instead of alcohol. Still a concern though, some people are pretty sensitive to caffeine and those things are like 200mg, and certainly an unpleasant night for anyone expecting to get to bed on time.
I’d say in general they’re not exactly the most ethical company, they market their energy drinks as “healthy” when in reality there really isn’t much of a difference between them and white monster or sugar free red bull.
Maybe if they had to go to bed at a specific time, they shouldn't be drinking alcopops 😅🍸
Or maybe that helps ... 🤔
