A flight from San Francisco to Zurich captured the aurora borealis over Hudson Bay, enhanced by a high altitude sunrise. A Perseid meteor is also visible beneath the Big Dipper. Both phenomena occur around 100 km up, with aurorae from charged particles and meteors from comet dust.
