It is remarkable to watch how both the EU and the UK plays along with Trump's "peace plan", thinking this will allow tension to build between Putin and Trump, as Putin does not want to be controlled from Washington.
The problem is, Trump does not have a plan. He just wants to reduce his own war expenses to 0 — something which will not ensure the "just peace" which Europe wants for Ukraine.
Putin can now make unreasonable demands, Ukraine cannot accept, and Trump will again blame Ukraine.
Could it be he overplayed his hand and somebody (I can not imagine who) corrected him ?
As I feel it with this step the US has made #putin responsible for the path towards peace. If Putin does not cooperate with this the US backs #Ukraine.
Reason could be the US see that the actions of Trump create a new and united Europe, independent of the US.
Or am I too positive (naive ?)?
I agree there is no plan. It’s stupidly simple. I don’t agree Putin can make unreasonable demands because of how stupid it is.
Trump is binary and without nuance.

Russia can’t accept any deal, especially one that puts Putin as Beta male under toxic man rules. Ukraine wins either way.
To take it Putin must send PoWs home, to reject it is make Trump fail.
The UK is laughing at Putin as he’s already lost.
