Sounds promising, but in the long run, this kind of processing power will inevitably disrupt society. Machines will do any task a human being can do, just faster, better and cheaper. The owners of these machines will accumulate all the money, all the land, all the data and all the rights. 99% of humans will have nothing and be utterly useless, with no options left to change anything.
I didn't think this whole AI thing is a terribly clever idea. We are not prepared for this.

Small sites, especially volunteer-run community sites, generally don't have "small thousands" to spend on legal advice. And even if they did, that's far from "negligible".

I reached out to FRA and spoke with them about joining their alliance. They send me creds and a test server to check out their web app for coordinating food rescue. They have a second meeting with my entire group at our next in-person meeting.
So far, I love their ethos and their approach.
I'm going to go test the software and reply to this post on my thoughts.

I am loving that things are finally moving to make European countries less dependent on US software (especially cloud providers), but I am disappointed that there isn't more of a focus on open source software.
There are several government programs within EU counties to fund the development of open source software. We need WAY more of that, coordinated at the EU level.
The best way to avoid being beholden to big tech is to fund viable open source alternatives.
