can I ask why you want to speak to Dean Spade? Is it about MA?

If so, I have my personal experiences with MA if you’d like to discuss anything, and I have had to deal with a lot of nonprofit types who used Dean spades education to coopt mutual aid from 2020 on.

But this is just me trying to reach out if you’re interested in that kind of dialogue.

I also have no problem talking about it openly, I just am not going to waste energy arguing with nonprofit apologists.

@perennialautonomy - Oh I meant it sort of joking like in that Dean is a public figure and puts himself out there to engage in these sort of things. I've also been reading his MA book a lot, etc.

That said, I love discussing Mutual Aid initiatives and I appreciate you reaching out!

Currently I'm dealing with working with non-profits a lot (they have apparatus in my town and the town itself, for example, is used to working with them).

So funny observations popping up now that I'm having a more direct discussion with them in regards to partnerships, working alongside them, etc.

that’s the whole problem, though. We got “less rich” in the 30s, and they spent the century between using the wealth and power to claw back more and more.

Until we have an economy that is by and for and of the people, this will happen over and over until it cannot be undone.

I made a bumper sticker that says: If there were ethical billionaires, they'd be millionaires.

Because it's true.

If they were serious about entitlements, they could give the richest Americans the choice of paying some tax *at all* on their capitol gains, or not collecting their Social Security.

Saying you can't claim both, if the former is larger than the later, would save billions.
