May not have been military. It's quite common for military medevac aircraft to run rescues and transports for civilian agencies when no other aircraft are able to handle the mission.

Yeah I don't know your local protocols but it's not uncommon for military aircraft to have capabilities civilian ones lack (e.g. more powerful engine for mountain operations, winches for vertical rescues, bigger fuel tank capacity for more range off shore, etc).
One of the local sheriff's departments has a helicopter with a winch, but none of the regular airlift birds can do hoist rescues so if you need to get somebody out of a place that's not suitable for landing you need to either get the sheriff or military.
This is why we have to keep on our friends and families to delete their Instagram and Facebook accounts and move to small, human moderated instances. A fedi instance that promoted this brain rotted, generative model extruded sewage would soon find itself cast out of community.

I'm trying to create a simple #script in #homeassistant . What I want to achieve is having a button to smash when a #cat enter the #litter box that turns on the #airpurifier full blast. I can control the speed of the air purifier, as shown in the first screenshot. When I'm editing the script I can switch on and off the air purifier, but there's no mention about the speed (second screenshot). I'm definitely doing something dumb, but what?
Once you select the turn-on action, it usually exposes additional parameters in the UI, eg. brightness for lights, speed for fans, etc. If you don't see this, you may need to specify them in the data section of the service call. Developer Tools is a great way to test things out.
@davidlsparks It didn't expose any additional parameter in this case. But your suggestion to check the dev tools set me on the right path: there I found an action "Set fan speed" and could apply it to the device, and try it. Seeing it worked, I copied the YAML from the dev tools to the script and it works perfectly. Now it is shown correctly as an action, so the issue here is I was searching the action starting from the device, and it didn't show up, but if I searched the action and the applied to the device, it would probably work. It seems like Home Assistant doesn't know that the device supports actions other than "turn on" and so doesn't suggest them...
