More on the Signal story.

DoD ordered the installation of Signal on government devices in opposition to its own #infosec policies.

I have been working on a list of businesses outside Us Jurisdiction. On that list is a whole list of VPN providers, outside Us Jurisdiction, which Vivaldi could have easily picked from.

@Linux That's why they specifically say that US laws apply to you only if you live in the US, which makes sense.

A UK reporter asks about Signal gate, and I sense Marjorie Taylor Green is feeling pressured by the scandal.

See if you can spot it. 😀

@joacim I love how we Scandinavians do irony. There are other countries where people look absolutely confused when you are ironic. But here, it always works. 😀

Sometimes I think the reason, Caesar never conquered Scandinavia is because a Jutland war lord told him, “Sure Caesar… you come visit… we will throw a party and give you a really warm welcome”, and then Caesar was all confused and decided to conquer England instead.

in reply to Randahl Fink

Caesar reached England and went "ffs the weather sucks here, let's not go any further north!"

Also: It's quite clear Americans doesn't understand irony since they claim their country is the greatest in the world...

Maybe Trump should go back to calling his missile shield the Iron Dome
Trump created the Space Force, Biden grew it, and now its top general worries about cutbacks.

I know they Army will be losing some amazing folks in some of their most important programs. It's going to set back some programs for years and completely shut down others. They won't be able to convince civilians to come back to the clusterfuck that's the DoD now.

Remember the Global War on Terror? I know, it's been a minute. But there was a time when we were all meant to take terrorism - *real* terrorism, the knocking-down-buildings kind, not the being-mean-to-Teslas kind - seriously.

The image is a meme divided into three panels. The top panel shows a desiccated, mummified human figure lying on a white surface, with its limbs curled up and hands clasped near its face. The middle panel features a young man with dark hair, wearing a gray t-shirt, standing in a misty, foggy environment. The text overlay reads, "What happened to him professor?" The bottom panel depicts an older man with long white hair and a beard, wearing a long white robe, also in the same misty environment. The text overlay reads, "Five of his TRPG sessions got canceled in a row." The meme humorously suggests that the young man's condition is a result of his frequent canceled tabletop role-playing game (TRPG) sessions.

The build process is a little bit over the top because the person building it is a little bit over the top - youtube.com/watch?v=NvX9EsqEeu… - but the results are impressive.

I got this UPS for free from someone I know. Look at the size of the battery versus the battery compartment/cover.

American wealth and culture is entirely based on exploitation and oppression. When slaves or immigrants are no longer available, they look for the next vulnerable social group.

Someday, somebody is going to write a brilliant PhD thesis about how and why the entire spectrum of the American political apparatus was successfully co-opted to advance the Zionist project in the most expensive, and also the smallest and pettiest ways imaginable.

And if nothing changes, that thesis will be buried and its authors' career will be destroyed.

Could be that it's already happened a few times.

boston.com misspelled "kidnapped" as "arrested". Must have been autocorrect I guess.
