There is something very wrong in this country when six young people meeting to discuss politics in a Quaker Meeting House are arrested by the police after a mass (twenty officers) invasion of the building (armed with tasers).

The freedom to protest, or even the freedom to meet in a room to discuss current affairs, are central to a democracy... if this freedom is now compromised (further), as it seems to be, we are in a very bad place!

I do not know why this is such a big deal, but as you can see, from within the Microsoft Store, not just an activation screen, but logged into the store within my Library, I own Windows 10 IoT Enterprise Ltsc 2021 and 2024, while running Windows 11 IoT Enterprise Ltsc.

I have tweaked Microsoft Windows to such an extreme, for example, I do not have Windows Defender, Windows Mail, Microsoft Edge, Microsoft Edge Web View, Windows Media Player (legacy), and I have also removed Microsoft Internet Explorer (legacy). I can sign in to a local account (as shown in my previous screenshot), plus continue to log into my store without effecting my local account.

I, of course, did install an antivirus to replace Windows Defender, opting for something light weight, but with some extra tools, 360 Total Security, and I replaced Edge with Vivaldi.

@osma True, but in fariness, I think his political stand, his verbal expressions about it is also very important. Even if it just helps to encurage others to step forward and not hold back - to me it feels that's something Macron is doing quite well. He could be tougher with Trumpler, but maybe it's tactially better to aproach him like a toddler.

The Russians have run out of steam. They were trying to create a pincher around Pokrovsk in the Donetsk Oblast, but now Ukraine is pushing the left side back.

We are seeing similar development near Toretsk to the north east of Pokrovsk, and this makes me wonder, if Putin has drained too much resources from this area to reinforce Kursk, or if this is caused by the long-term effects of Russia's plethora of logistics problems and high losses.

Something is afoot.

Thanks to @breakintoprogram.co.uk I have managed to fix up the code on the ISA Z80 motherboard with quite a nice set of functions to get serial working. I still have to get character Rx working, but then I'm headed straight for BASIC!
a really simple assembler program that successfully prints hello world to the serial port.

In response to growing threats from Musk, the government, and counter-protesters, people are encouraged to stay safe, be peaceful and respectful, and follow law enforcement directives.
