Went south to retrieve wife and buy excavator.

Wife is dubiously inspecting the new living room arrangement, excavator should get delivered tomorrow.

The B&S Petrol engine would've been a six month wait, so I grudgingly went with the KOOP 1 cylinder air-cooled diesel, a copy of a Yanmar design. It's got a year warranty in case it goes wrong (they tend to go wrong early on or not at all from my research).

@walfischbucht @withaveeay We've already had one "oh you're getting excavator, come dig some stuff for us" request, but we don't have a heavy duty (>750kg) trailer for moving it.

Perhaps something to do in the future when we're less crazy busy with our own place! Half the reviews of these things I watched were from contractors using them to earn money.

A pretty impressionistic and loose ink sketch of a sort of phoenix type bird in flight, its head held high and looking to the future, sharp talons curled against its chest. It's done in smooth flowing strokes of white and black as the feathers, no real outlines on anything but the face, on a background of dappled and feathering to each other blotches of blue and purple ink. The colours have been messed with in such a way that the bird has been joyfully transitioned to pink, blue and white, the colours of the trans flag... or at least close enough to be recognised as such. The effect is quite soft and dreamlike, it looks nice. The painting is dated to 12th of October in 2019 and signed with Sini Tuulia in white ink.
