Yo so like.

The Dunkin donuts here were particularly good. Like the cake donut was not greasy and it was nearly delicate. It's still in my head.

Summer and I harvested spinach and lettuce today.
Our oldest grandson drove out here to pick up two five gallon buckets full for family, and to share with the neighbor's on their block.
We will have so many vegetables to share this year. Pretty exciting stuff.
We also talked about protesting together tomorrow. They have a plan.

Thank you!
There will be seven of us and they have a plan to keep me safe.
I am hoping for an extra large, peaceful protest.

This Pride Month, there are many reasons you might want to protest & fight for your rights.

If you do decide to join the action, make sure to prepare properly to keep yourself safe.

Your smartphone is an essential tool to organize and report, but it can also make you vulnerable to the mass surveillance many protests are targeted with.

Here’s how to prepare your device before a protest to minimize your risk: privacyguides.org/articles/202…

Now that I know what to look for, I can normally spot a fellow autistic a mile away. But, before that, I think I was just very good at spotting a fellow weird and wonderful, someone else on the raggedy edge struggling to fit in. As the saying goes, it takes one to know one.

One of my first memories was meeting a kid about my age and my AuDAR going off. I didn't know what it was at that point, of course. I just went through life knowing that sometimes people made me feel a certain way when I met them.

The prize for winning a top spot at the Hackaday SuperCon SAO challenge with my Bendy SAO design was getting 100 copies of it produced and assembled. These bendy boys just arrived this week. They're getting flashed and paired with 3D printed stands, so now I have a cool giveaway for #teardown2025 next week!

That's awesome! Could you say a bit about what these little guys are?
in reply to Nate Gaylinn

@ngaylinn sure! The build is an assembly of 8 PCBs that can pivot around plastic push rivets to change the relative orientation of its four segments while maintaining electrical contact so that the signal controlling the LEDs passes uninterrupted along all the segments. There is a write up of the build here: hackaday.io/project/198408-ben…, though the website isn't displaying correctly

Dear Mr. Takei,

I hear it's going to rain on Trump's parade today.

I sure hope he doesn't think of it as some super secret advanced technology weather control machine; one that both he and the MAGAs are just too stupid to comprehend, let alone operate.

I hope he thinks of it as God telling him to go soak his head.

Sincerely,

#ScribesAndMakers 13. Self-promotion day: show us what you're proud of. Let's boost away.
I’m kind of proud of this “marbled embroidery” pattern I’m working on. I had to take a few days off because I got a cramp in my needling hand. I’m proud that I actually took a break! It’s been meditative working on it. It only has satin stitch in different colors. The designer of the pattern suggests colors but you can use whatever you like. The last section will be greys and blues.

I like to change up my reading from book to book. Previous audiobook was horror/fantasy and maybe YA. Now I'm listening to The Sleepwalkers by Paul Grossman, which is murder mystery/historical fiction. I'm not more than 10% into it, but so far so good. #AmReading #FridayReads #Books #Bookstodon #Audiobooks #Fiction #Mystery @bookstodon
