Apparently, though, I have to presume a self deputized defender of the people decides to knock off a few politicians all everything’s just fine with them.
I wonder how much calling politicians “lawmakers” in media stories also serves as a low-key way of inflaming tensions and riling up the people who are prepared to carry actions to horrible extremes. It’s a naming choice that suggests that these politicians are creating rules to restrict or somehow control, rather than simply help society function.
