I was confused and a little annoyed the Walz told people to stay home from protests today. But, he may have known that the likely murderer had flyers for some protests in his car which, given his other targets makes for some very dark suggestions about what he was going to do next. So, maybe Walz didn't want to see a mass shooting with this guy still running around.
I'm sure that is the case, but it's sad he didn't say, "I am calling on law enforcement to protect those exercising their first amendment rights today. We will not be cowed just because we have a killer in our midst."
@VirginiaHolloway His security company effectively role plays as cops (same vehicles and gear). The worry, I'm sure, is him hiding in plain sight and hurting more people. I can't find the article, but one indicated that he had already fooled the police once after the initial assassinations.
Immensely irritated they haven't found this clown yet. No one in MN will be able to relax until they do. And with every hour the range of disease and uncertainty grows.
Perhaps he has already shot himself and died in some hole. Though I wanted to see him answer questions as I think that when these kinds of people don't die it robs them of some mysteriousness.
About 11,900,000 people is 3.5% of the United States population, which I understand is a critical tipping point for protest to make a difference.

@Frenezul0_o @rodrigo_silva Civil war happens when there's clear geographic separation of subpopulations. Right now, it's all mixed together, with the biggest pattern being urban vs rural. I think fascists vs rebels is a more likely outcome.

You have to keep in mind that "paradise" means completely different things to different people. While we saw a country that was growing and becoming more diverse, and that this was a GOOD thing--that we were learning from past mistakes and improving--they saw the continued death and destruction of the world they loved.

I think it was at least 3-4 reporters who were attacked by the police in LA. There was one for the Guardian who had emergency surgery and one for an Australian outlet who was shot on camera for sure, but I recall reading about a few others.
IOs Iphone se (some year) I clever I am. I wanted a "shortcut" to give me an audible warning when I should unplug the phone from the charger. So () If plugin charger then calculate minutes to charge from the current battery status. Set a "focus" that will last time + minutes. () If focus stops make sound. () If charger is unplugged stop focus.

Yeah I threw it away. I might be clever but I'm not smart.
Modern phones (or also some apps) can stop the charging at, for example, 80% to not stress the batterie.
With modern Chargers, there is not really a need to unplug them "asap", as them work different than the old ones. The moment, there is no more power drained to the device, them falling into some "standby"-power consume, which the most devices to measure the consume cannot detect (below 0.5 Watts).
And when I got home from my quick shop, Rufus made it clear he was a neglected and starving cat. So I smoochied him. I'm sure he appreciated it, even if his face says otherwise.
@AncTreat5358 Unlike his brother (littermate) Rufus *hates* smoochies. When anyone (but me) tries, he scrabbles out of the way. With me, He put up with it. Sometimes with a heavy sigh.
