Personally, the childish behavior of some mods and admins on the fedi irritates tf out of me. Like grow up, serious.
Buuuuut... that doesn't affect how I admin. We have rules. It isn't abt me, or who I dislike, or who irritates me daily, it's about like... making bardic a place where the ppl there can trust that they're safe. It exists bc I didnt feel safe on many other instances and I hated that feeling.

@tiefling I'm assuming that you're referring to Anarres, and not transfeminine.art, which is the instance I admin directly? I can't take personal credit for our rules here, but I agree. Because all of us share responsibility for managing the server, accountability has to be a priority.
tf.a has a much more minimal set of rules, probably too minimal honestly, but I wanted a looser guideline rather than a rigidly codified set of rules.

And I feel that, it's in my nature to be a petty, spiteful bitch, but being better than my worst impulses is why I adopted the practice of not speaking Lashon Hara, and that goes double when I have my moderator hat on, and triple on tf.a since I'm solely responsible for that instance.
