The magnetic scrubber is a genius device; not everyone who uses it is a genius, though. 😁

As explained to me, this is why modern 'bear proof' bins rely on users having opposable thumbs, rather than on intelligence.
Also relevant: a hungry local bear has way more motivation to learn how to get into that bin than a bored visiting human does.
