@smeg Marketing people want to know things that RSS won't tell them. Simple as that.
They want to know that because TPTB demand ROI on marketing dollars spent.
Not saying that it's OK or good to "nuke" RSS feeds; but it helps to imagine who is yelling over somebody's shoulder to understand why things are done the way they are.

Can't believe i'm defending an American politician right now but here goes:
I hate to be the well actually guy, but Oswald was Conservative first (1918-1920), then Labour (1924-1930), when he quit his post in Labour government after the cabinet rejected his economic ideas/policies (Mosley Memorandum).
Mosley's ideas were even supported by Keynes (yes that one) at the time.
Timelines and facts matter....trying to make it seem like they were all buddies with a fascist when at the time he was not factually at the time isn't historically accurate.
