@smeg Marketing people want to know things that RSS won't tell them. Simple as that.
They want to know that because TPTB demand ROI on marketing dollars spent.
Not saying that it's OK or good to "nuke" RSS feeds; but it helps to imagine who is yelling over somebody's shoulder to understand why things are done the way they are.
