Uh... I do this but I'm a self-diagnosed autistic 50+ year old Gen Xer that realized that if you let people talk, they exhaust themselves or start revealing too much and tell on themselves.
I also get along very well with the Gen Z crowd. I find my interactions with them tend to be straightforward and honest.
And the best greeting you can give to a worker is, "Hello, does the boss/owner pay/treat you well here?"

But me, by contrast, … I've done caving as a hobby.
I'm surrounded by people afraid to visit a tourist "show cave." I say, "Look: It's wheelchair accessible. I've seen grandmothers do it, in wheelchairs, pushed by relatives. It's fine." They're still all "NOPE!!!" about it.

It's psychological. Everything in our life is. (I have my fears too.)
Knowing that you're surrounded by rock, including a layer, many feet thick above you, bothers some people. In spite of there being much more room in these show caves than in most houses.
