The governments don't have individual information on you as a citizen, at the moment. But, always a risk of future compromise and/or subpoena and/or whatever crap is going on in the US feds right now.
@SallyMonster I don't think Watch Duty requests GPS info... I dunno about the others. On the one hand, I like how Watch Duty only knows my county. On the other hand, getting alerts for every fire in such a large area can be fatigue-inducing.
It's been a while since I did any mobile app reversing. Checking out a few of these emergency apps and doing a privacy assessment on them might be a fun project, if I had any free time. 🙁
