It's for more than just fluffing up soil. The clay-heavy mudpit in front of the garden has recovered super well by now, but only the part where I blended woodchips into it with this thing. Didn't have enough woodchips, so the comparison area fares poorly, despite also mulching with grass cuttings on top.
