Killer Kross announced his film "Blue Evening" has been accepted into 3 new film festivals, including in the UK, and received 5 new award nominations.
Kross confirmed he will be at the Burbank International Film Festival screening tomorrow, Sept. 25. The film, directed by Jett Jansen Fernandez, has already won Best Drama Short at the Chain NYC Film Festival and Best Actor at the Pasadena International Film Festival.

I didn't realize that in categorical algebra one would be considered a «loser» for using the word variety to refer to a category which is merely equivalent to a full subcategory of Alg T specified by equations rather than the classical case of a variety in the sense of universal algebra. To be honest, I've never seen any textbook discuss a «loser version» of a definition before.

People using AI just to say they are using AI is something I am hearing more and more.
But I bet the guys at the top will draw the wrong conclusions.
Or the right conclusion: you can increase the stock price if you say you're using AI, and not using AI but saying you are is a lot cheaper than wasting time trying to use it.

If the Disney catalog is too small to make a model, that's a good sign that this technology is a dead end. Sure the entirety of YouTube might be large enough to make a toy like Veo but even it can't do more than provide slop.
And Veo is a toy. At its best its use case is to generate slop videos for YouTube that you can run behind an ASMR soundtrack for people to sleep to or something. Cheaper to just point a camera out a window and generate some stock footage
