WRT the Ruby takeover, I've seen several posts calling for Ruby to learn from Python about how to structure governance to prevent fascist takeover of infrastructure. Which, yes, I agree.
But also, I would encourage the Python side to not get complacent. A fascist takeover is a thousand percent still possible, it just looks different, like the slow adoption and validation of AI.
@n_dimension AI is actual fascism. It's rooted in explicitly eugenicist philosophy, funded by and funds fascists, is used to weaken labor interests, and to proliferate disinformation.
I feel perfectly confident saying that at a philosophical and structural level, AI is fascism, *precisely* because words mean things.
I'd like to learn more about your foundational knowledge, esp. the eugenics and disinformation aspects.
Can you point me towards some texts/papers? It's a hard take I've not experienced so far.
