Went pretty good, my legs still feel like ancient technology, but they remember going fast so it was both hard to resist going fast but also I physically don't have the muscles to hustle yet lol.
Hips were more engaged as I remember how to do this all.
Just need to ruminate on a routine before any habits can form, but I miss the familiar bounce in my step.

@falcennial thanks! I used to run regularly but I gave it up since time was tough to manage. I have a pretty realistic sense of wear and tear, and how much I have left in the tank, makes it fun to set small goals or push myself.
I'm on leave for a couple more weeks so I'm dipping my toe back in to see what I can figure out for a possible routine/training. I just really don't want to wake up at 4am to make it work but the alternative might be years away.
I am not a 4am mf personally, although I admire how Mike Tyson used to get up at 4am for a run for the psychological edge of knowing he is the first one up and training every day. he then would go back to bed! just gave himself that edge.
