As Lord Foulkes points out @BylinesScotland

'Nigel Farage has built his career on one trick: convincing people he’s the outsider raging against the establishment. Yet no politician in modern British history has been given such an easy ride by that very establishment – above all, the mainstream media'!

Our media has comprehensively failed in its key political role; casting a critical(!) eye on politicians' claims & positions.

🇷🇺📉 #Russia will introduce a partial ban on diesel exports until the end of the year and also extend its current ban on gasoline exports, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak was quoted as saying on Thursday.

Evening, Toots! Have I introduced you to my friend? This is "Twenty." His smaller mate is called "Four" - (I'm not sure sure how far that joke will travel, but there's a brand of takeaway hot pies, commonly found in service stations, called "Four and Twenty Pies" , probably after the nursery rhyme blackbirds, so the [mag] pies are called...)
ANYWAY now I've overexplained that - Both birds are very friendly, love lawn grubs, dont mind the odd peanut, and will come when called. So far, no terroritorial crossovers with our long-standing butcher bird family.

Pac-Man Creator's Forgotten Game - Libble Rabble

The creator of Pac-Man, Toru Iwatani, once created another arcade game called Libble Rabble. It's a cult hit now, but at the time, it didn't go over well when it first released in Japanese arcades.

In this video, we take a look at an overshadowed game in the legendary creator's catalog. Or, is it one of this games? That's an important question to answer. One that we kind of answer in this video. We also visit some Tokyo nightclubs, so that's neat.

alojapan.com/1377846/howd-you-… How’d you do your gyudon? #food #JapaneseFood Had to buy cooking sake, dashi and mirin for it. Was absolutely bloody worth it. BTW, I love it when the egg is poured right on the beef and cooked with it (kinda like oyakodon-style). Do you like it that way or with onsen-tamago? by fr1q1ngs00per1e0n

Feels like every time the EU commits to "simplify admin" or "cut red tape" for small businesses, they add another mandatory step/form/submission to the red tape burden on small businesses.

Solving problems begins with humble doubt.

Ask:
- How do we know this needs solving?
- How will we know when it's solved?
- What's the shortest path to a solution?

Is anyone else sick of seeing the phrase “bent the knee” for capitulating to fascism? Like, yeah, we liked the phrase in Game of Thrones and now here’s our chance to use it!

I wish it would stop. It’s not cute, it’s shallow.

Capitulating to fascism isn’t “bending the knee” it’s capitulating to fascism. Stop feeding the dominionists’ royalist fantasies. 🙄
