When putin speaks about #peace, listen closely to the real message: installing a puppet regime in #Ukraine, dismembering the country, and ensuring permanent instability.
In short – no peace. Decode the kremlin double-talk and #DontBeDeceived
Air, shelter*, water & food are needs. Everything else is want.
*Shelter = protective structure (sleeping & protection from exposure) AND community (social)
Europeans boycott US products to protest against Trump tariffs
As US President Donald Trump escalates a trade war with the European Union – most recently by threatening a 200% tariff on wine and champagne – Europeans are taking matters into their own hands by starting grassroots boycotts of American products that are mobilising tens of thousands of consumers.

Fedi, I write to you today with worry. I'm beginning to think I've skipped down a dark, slippery slope that there is no escape from. I just finished my first piece of art containing a mousegirl.
I can only hope I'm strong enough to resist the inevitable slide into drawing tons of cute human/animal girl hybrids, but I doubt it.
Please provide your condolences below; or let me know if you like the piece

in reply to Ars Technica • • •We need to stop vilifying each other for buying a certain type of electric car when we thought we were doing right by ditching gas before other opts were available. Won’t buy from them again but not everyone can just take on a new car payment out of protest.
They want us to fight over stupid culture war bull****. Keep focused on the true enemy in billionaires, the investor class, and the systems that let them get away with it all.

in reply to Ars Technica • • •You could not give me a Tesla for free, because I would not want a Tesla.
A car, that I do not completely own. That, previously, tried disabling used Tesla's and suing anyone who resold their Tesla (they claimed you don't have the rights to resell). And even putting that aside, requiring a lifetime subscription fee to use the functions and features that come with the car is insane. I want to own my car and everything that comes with it.
There is no value, from my perspective, in ever owning a Tesla.

It has been a known fact for over a decade that he's a white supremacist and liar.
There are plenty of good EVs to choose from that aren't status symbols. People who are obsessed with status and brands are shitty people. Perhaps reconsider priorities.
