Ich bin grad auf der #DPG Frühjahrstagung in Regensburg. Die gerade neu gegründete AG Klima der DPG hat zusammen mit #S4F eine schöne Veranstaltung organisiert. Überall hier hängt auch der Appell, den über 10000 Wissenschaftler*innen an die demokratischen Parteien richten zu mehr Engagement gegen die Klimakrise. U.a. geht es um ein klares Bekenntnis zum Klimaschutzgesetz und Klimageld und sozial gerechten Klimaschutz.

Lions rescued from Ukraine arrive at the purpose built Lion Rescue Centre at the Big Cat Sanctuary.
One arrived at the sanctuary last year. The other four have been living temporarily in Belgium while their new habitat was being built. They were collected last week to travel to their new permanent home. All the lions will need special care after suffering trauma and in some cases injuries in the war zone.
The Big Cat Sanctuary is doing amazing work. They recently led the efforts to re-home a large number of cats of various species from a so-called sanctuary that was closed down by the authorities and its owner prosecuted for welfare violations.
They're a charity, so can always use donations, or to have something bought for them from their Amazon Wish List. They have a great YouTube channel too.

@neurologo I understand your point, but Trump being the coward he is, I do not see him invading Greenland. Invading another country takes complex planning, and Trump is the kind of guy who does not read more than half a page when briefed.
Then there is the question if Pete Hegseth and the US military would carry out the orders. They have all seen what happened to Saddam Hussein, Gadaffi, et al., so I have my doubts they would want to back an illegal war against a NATO country.
