The US has no shortage of bombastic, creative, weird and wacky monuments. Of course, I have to visit them. Here is a growing list of such monuments that we have visited.
Let me know which you have visited and how you liked them. backpackandsnorkel.com/USA/Onl…

The image depicts a character with a demonic appearance, sitting on a pink cushioned armchair with ornate wooden armrests. The character has pale skin, short hair with a hint of purple, and is wearing a pink button-up shirt and gray pants. They have a tail and horns, suggesting a demonic or fantasy creature. The character is resting their head on their hand, with a contemplative expression. The background is dark, with a gradient from dark gray to black, emphasizing the character. The lighting is soft, highlighting the character's features and the texture of the armchair.

Well I finally got #HomeAssistant interfaced to my #OPNsense router and OMG ! I cannot believe that it provided a total of 119 entities for displaying information about my #FreeBSD router. Not that I'm going need anywhere near that.
At the moment I'm showing the following:

CPU's 0-3 temperatures
Memory used
Uptime since last boot
WAN PPPoE Status
OPNsense Integration Updates Available
WAN IN/OUT graphs

A German guard once asked Maureen O'Sullivan what was in her suitcase. She laughed. “A wireless, of course!”.

Very early #OnThisDay, 23 Mar 1944 , Maureen 'Paddy' O'Sullivan parachutes into occupied France to be a radio operator for the British Special Operations Executive.

The SOE supported the French Resistance. Radio operators were at the greatest risk of capture as their position could be triangulated. O’Sullivan was never captured.

I wander far during my explorations in the online world. Sometimes, I discover something new, and report back to you dear folks.

Today's theme is nighttime photography, well-lit by drones with lights:

'Let's hope that the EU is living in America's future, and not the other way around." Como siempre acertado, Cory Doctorow @pluralistic en uno de sus" vertidos" de enlaces. Esta vez sobre el caos trumpiano y las consecuencias de una utopía pseudolibertaria.

Drone light painting photography is a creative technique where a drone equipped with lights is used to draw patterns or shapes in the air while a long exposure photograph is taken, resulting in a unique image with trails of light.

Watch out for the moon phases and also the direction at which light will fall on the surface you will be light painting. You can use a combination of moonlight and drone lights when you are painting patterns in the sky (moonlight to illuminate landscape and drone light to paint patterns in the sky) or use the drone lights to fill in light in areas where light is less or not available.
