The image is a three-panel meme from a game show. In the first panel, a man in a black suit and tie stands behind a desk with a yellow card that reads "MIXED BAG." He is looking down at a woman in an orange dress standing in front of him. The text at the bottom of the panel reads, "Name something in a dungeon that can burn for an hour."

In the second panel, the woman in the orange dress is shown in a close-up, with a name tag that reads "OBAMA." She is looking to her left, and the text at the bottom of the panel reads, "A family of goblins?"

In the third panel, the man in the black suit is shown again, this time with a surprised expression, holding the yellow card. The woman in the orange dress is looking at him. The text at the bottom of the panel reads, "[@]shadowdarkmemes."

In the curb find game you never know what you might come across. Case in point this stuffed coyote I just came across. Doggo Ellie wasn’t impressed. 😁 #CurbFind #DogsOfMastodon

It’s missing the lower jaw and a lot of skin on the other side, so not a keeper even if the wife said yes which she definitely wouldn’t do. 😁

We need to close every single US military base in Europe ASAP

As I just told a friend, this is intentional assault.

AI corpos:"you can't stop us from stealing your hero's work and debasing him"

You're right: I can't stop you from being trash humans but no one will ever love you like we love him, you're pathetic.

Denmark has not found it relevant to spend tax payer money on a large military base on Greenland. Instead Denmark gives a yearly grant of 620 million dollars to the 57,000 Greenlanders, which is spent on everything in the Greenland budget including having free healthcare, free access to universities in Denmark AND a well functioning police force.

Vance now abuses that fact to claim that Denmark has not kept Greenland safe, and therefore Greenland should become American.

@8petros I think so, yes. The Swiss have 28 guns per 100 people, the Greenlanders 22 — more than double than Denmark's 10.

Pine Marten

A portrait of the individual that is calling by the "red squirrel" hide, in search of the food put out for them.

Needless to say, we've been adding to the food, so this gorgeous character has a supply too.

Taken at dusk, at ISO 8000, with a Canon R5 mk2 and EF500mm f/4 lens.

in reply to Pete Walkden

that is an amazing photo!
Out of curiosity, is the low light performance of the camera just that amazing, or do you use a fancy software that deals very well with the noise (I mean, of course there was denoising applied, but I am wondering what specifically, I would not get away with ISO 8000 on my camera and darktable postprocessing)?
in reply to crypticcelery

@crypticcelery It's ok at low light photos, but limited compared with some, as it has so many MP. The cameras like the R3 and R1 are better as they have fewer MP and the pixels are themselves larger. I've been working on using Lightroom's Denoise tool to remove a lot of the noise, and then processed the result using more techniques I've learned over the years.

Looking forward to all this enhanced security

I really cannot stress enough how much of an unexpected marketing gift the term "vibe coding" has been for us.
in reply to Patrizia

@patrizia @sinister it's been a long time since I considered myself a coder, but my feeling is that AI generated code will be acceptable for the 90% that's not edge cases. It'll have problems with the 90% of code written to deal with the edge cases.

When you see the POTUS or people who support him saying things like, "man who could have asked for a better start to this presidency," you might go "whuh?"

But if you take a look at the useful Project 2025 Tracker, they've made incredible progress on their policy goals in a remarkably short time. I encourage everyone to explore this site, because it kind of puts all the awful in one place.
