I've been folding my #zines and dropping them in little free libraries (as well as handing them out at tabling events, etc).

I love the idea of this. It's like traditional pamphleting but with a modern twist.

Whilst it is still before midday in some time-zones, I just want to share the good news that the new #RC2014 Mini II Picasso has gone on display at the Tate Modern art gallery!

You can get your very own piece of art from #z80kits right now z80kits.com/shop/rc2014-mini-i…

Remember, you can't spell UART without ART

Tonight: the 16.5% illuminated waxing crescent Moon occults (passes in front of) the Pleiades open star cluster (Messier 45) for Scandinavia, western Europe and the United Kingdom centered on 21:02 Universal Time (UT). This is a fine event, with the dark limb of the Moon leading the way past several bright stars in the group. The IOTA has ingress/egress times for select stars and sites: lunar-occultations.com/iota/bs…

Basic bee facts every day at 3pm.

# 80

A recent study in Sweden has found that music can affect bumblebee mating - specifically the length of mating events.
In a laboratory environment broadcasting soul songs such as Marvin Gaye’s ‘Let’s Get It On’ resulted in longer and more frequent mating events.
Songs by #TaylorSwift were found to decrease mating event duration and often inhibit entirely mating between #bumblebees.

That is so cool to know. I can't wait for my cactus to bloom. I get quite a few bees on them.
in reply to The Bee Guy

Is there any data on how they behave when they hear The Doobie Brothers' What a Fool Believes?

Y'all! My succulent bloomed! I had no idea this was even a possibility. I feel like I've won a prize.

OnlyFans sued after two guys realized they might not actually be talking to models

404media.co/onlyfans-sued-afte…

in reply to 404 Media

might want to adjust this headline to "being sued". as written it's ambiguous as to whether OF are being sued or OF are suing the unnamed party running the scam.
in reply to 404 Media

I saw the headline and thought this was an April Fools joke. Or maybe it is and I haven't had enough coffee?

I'm going back to bed. I'll try the world again tomorrow.

I've also made a similar upgrade back in the '90s but with a fiber hub giving service to the core servers in our company. A bit riskier than yours :0120:

Folks, I've done it again: revolutionizing the tabletop roleplaying game with my new release today, FISHING IN THE SPEAKING LANDS.

You know how every MMO and CRPG has a fishing minigame?

You know how no TTRPG has a fishing minigame?

Well I've fixed that problem for you, for us, for everybody.

Fishing in the Speaking Lands is a fishing minigame that you can bolt on to any Cortex game you like!

And it's free all this week: itch.io/s/150344/fishing-in-th…

By returning the stolen statue to Nepal but not disclosing that it was a gift from a major donor, the museum is “getting rid of a problematic object” while simultaneously “face-saving” its relationship with all donors, an art historian says.

That would raise questions big donors to museums don't want raised, much less answered. Where did the donor get that illegally obtained artifact? From whom and when? And how big a tax deduction did they take for donating a stolen item to a major museum?

Want an RSS of all public releases on Mirlo? You now can get that on our Releases page!

mirlo.space/releases

in reply to mirlo.space

Hey @mirlo, I love having a feed of new releases. What would make it even better though would be if the artist was in the item title (as well as the release title). Currently my RSS reader only shows the release and its description, but not the artist...
in reply to AxWax

And I also just noticed that Preorder releases (that don't have any playable tracks yet) still have a play button on the releases page, which just made me think the site was broken, until I clocked what was happening.

(Click eg on the play button for "Beautiful World EP" or "Gunner's Daughter" on the releases page)

No, it's when you say retarded shit like "ending the existence of the EPA is going to harm the planet" and "let's support this search engine that plants one tree for every 10 searches made via their website" and "let's spray Lysol and other extreme toxins and disinfectants all over everything continuously for multiple hears, but then simultaneously claim that we care about the environment, somehow" that makes you "woke".

This seemed really dumb and everyone would immediately know it was a joke ... which just made it that so much funnier when it actually got someone. #AprilFools
