Hydroelectric is the only renewal that works day and night without battery backup.
The proposed solar-energy alternative was highly speculative and would have required miles of transmission lines. And batteries, that routinely burst into flame.
Does it make sense to destroy an existing asset in order to preserve *one local* species when thousands of species face extinction from global warming?
I despair that even so-called progressives want to dismiss global warming.
