I’m kind of proud of this “marbled embroidery” pattern I’m working on. I had to take a few days off because I got a cramp in my needling hand. I’m proud that I actually took a break! It’s been meditative working on it. It only has satin stitch in different colors. The designer of the pattern suggests colors but you can use whatever you like. The last section will be greys and blues.

A question for people who know their AWS:
The technique I'm using on my home server with Fail2Ban - exple.tive.org/blarg/2025/05/2… - is simple: "anyone who gets served up a 404 catches an immediate iptables DROP.
It doesn't look like there's an easy way to get from "AWS WAF rule feeds this visitor a 404 way up here in level 7" to "... next time the firewall or load balancer sees them coming, drop their packets on the floor."
Any way to tie those together in AWS-land?

In any way, I love the concept and how you put it into words. The mere fact that the main "problem" is the spelling of the hashtag and concept is my form of praise.
