on july 10th, "greensboro" food not bombs had their 8 fridges, freezers, tables, cleaning supplies, & food destroyed by the city with no warning.
today they had a distro to show "the city's actions will not stop us from keeping each other fed." 
"greensboro" FNB calls for donations to be made to "greensboro" mutual aid so they can ensure their neighbors get fed. additionally, more volunteers for their food not bombs chapter are needed to help with distro, cleaning, & cooking.

If youโre going to the No Kings protest in Nassau County, be aware they have a mask ban (including respirators).
The โmedical exemptionโ is 100% police discretion. You have to prove youโre โsick enoughโ to mask.
Mask bans are the result of people refusing to help disabled folks normalize masking.
If more people had masked for public health, they would have been harder to ban.
We begged for solidarity.
We said we didnโt want to be left by the wayside.
We screamed about the risks of Long Covid.
We referenced ugly laws from the past.
It didnโt matter. Non disabled people wanted to go โback to normalโ, and now weโre stuck fighting discriminatory bans.

Some of us will be steering clear of your distributed flashmob block parties tomorrow.
Those of us who mask up every day to protect ourselves, our households and our communities.
Despite our communities having decided that protecting one another is only worthwhile when politically expedient.
Why?
Because "ARREST THE PEOPLE IN FACE MASKS, NOW" is only actionable because the people in face masks stand out as distinct from the crowd.
Systemic problems are individual problems as infrastructure.
