I didn't check out the western part at all so ... I have no idea... but we had tons tons tons more people than the Usual Activists. there were many speakers; several pro-Palestine that got good responses, our local progressive rep, a guy who got naturalized *yesterday* and had never spoken publicly before... and just TONS of Regular People. So many cars honked support (I suspect some just decided they'd be a supportive parade since they would have had to WALK SO FAR to get there, car culture!!!)... I hope the Trumpists at least felt ... uncomfortable.
