I see a lot of pornography from users at mastodon.social .... But I don't block the whole domain, I just apply 'Limit' to each offending user, in the moderation interface. It's been a lot more work but, that way, I don't block the other mastodon.social users, just the idiots who post pornography....
There seems to be quite a lot of pornographers on that host.... It's a pity they don't go sign up with a domain that is specifically NSFW-oriented.... Sure, free speech is important, but they make the Fediverse less family-friendly by posting porn on an instance that 'looks a bit official' (mastodon.social)....

I just got home from the #NoKings protest in #OKC.
Early numbers reports and a statement from the rally podium say THIS WAS THE BIGGEST PROTEST IN #OKLAHOMA HISTORY.
It was gorgeous.
We marched for about 1.2 miles to the rallying point outside City Hall. This took about 30 min. Spouse & I were with 5 friends (3 more joined us later). By the time we had been at the rallying point for 20 min, the marchers further back WERE STILL COMING.
I'll post pics later. Right now I need a warm shower. It started raining while we marched, and we stood in the rain for more than 2 hours.
It rained. They didn't leave. It thundered. They didn't leave. It lightninged. THEY DIDN'T LEAVE.

We had a bunch of protests attended by a few hundred to a thousand people each in Montgomery County, Maryland, along what basically constitutes the main drag here. Lots of folks of all ages. Several years ago, I mistook them as cherry, growing under the cherry tree, and let some grow in the pots. But soon realized they’re elm babies.
That’s how I’m ended up with four elm saplings in pots. They’re fast growing. So I’ve been keeping an eye on the roots. One of them at the end of my flowerbed had sneakily sent her roots into the ground between slate tiles, which I cut from the potted sapling last year.
Yesterday, I almost pulled my back—well, I did, it hurts, but stayed calm to stay functional—trying to pull the stubborn roots out of the ground. And it took me a huge effort to handsaw off the root 3cm in diameter at the bottom of the pot.
The sparrows love them. I do, too, even though it’s a literal pain to keep them as “bonsai.” 🪴✨👀😅

Here’s a wide shot. The elm sapling in the pot is on the left—I think its height gives a nice balance to the flowerbed. Some perennials/etc are in pots either because they’re invasive or I haven’t decided where to place them (since we widened the bed a few years ago, and reduced the grass space).

@primrose (Replying for Primrose) We're doing pretty well! Yesterday, we found out that our maximum stamina points went up by 1. It's really exciting that our ME/CFS seems to be improving!
Our system member @indigo also went to a trans support group, which was nice, and watched the tail end of a Long Covid art presentation. Then they looked into financial help for renewing our driver's license. Looks like we'll get help!
