Kremlin says Putin spoke with Trump, discussed Ukraine
Vladimir Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov said the Kremlin boss had a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday, June 14. — Ukrinform.Ukrinform
The founding fathers started the war mostly because their land speculation businesses relied on 1) was with natives 2) and not having to pay taxes to the king to do that.
Then they conned some actual patriots into dying for this.
Yeah, I don't understand why people don't see how, "No taxation without representation," is an economic policy, not a cry for liberty. I'm not saying that none of the Founding Fathers (a term I use for want of better, not because of any particular reverence) had motives other than economic, but if Parliament had backed off on the various economic things which were driving the revolution, it never would have happened and we'd probably be like Canada now, unless we later rebelled to keep slavery. That's my read, anyway.

Props to everyone protesting today. Thank you!
I'm at a girls #lacrosse tournament in hot, humid, smoky MD.
#Protest in #FortWorth #dfw today, #NoKings. According to organizers the #FBI closed airspace around the event, which might explain why the helicopter was hanging pretty far back. There *was* a quadcopter hanging out closer to the event though. Probably had about a thousand people milling around, give or take a couple hundred.
Saw reps from #CPUSA, #RCA, and #PSL #PartyForSocialismAndLiberation too, as well as #AFLCIO. #socialism #communism #marxism.

I just got back from the protest in Newtown. Seemed really well attended for a relatively small town... definitely several hundred people, maybe up to 1,000? Kind of hard to estimate, but the main area felt very full.
The crowd was energetic but not unruly. The cops had to step in a few times to help traffic through the intersection, but I didn't see them doing anything beyond that. Drivers passing through were overwhelmingly supportive. Lots of honking horns and fists being pumped out of windows and sunroofs.
I decided to leave my phone at home. We're leaving the country soon for vacation, and I didn't want to invite any extra scrutiny at the border. Probably would have been just fine, but you never know!
My daughter really wanted to go with me, but she just couldn't accept leaving home without her phone. Maybe next time.

Well, yes. Firefox was using Netscape’s “profile manager” until a couple of months ago, even.
It has evolved massively over the years, but Firefox is direct descendant of Navigator. Used to use Mozilla 0.9.5 on Knoppix.

And fuck it, we can count LibreOffice. It's the same as StarOffice apparently

I think I've had a short interaction with StarOffice; I know I've had a long one with OpenOffice.org and a still active one with LibreOffice.

Oh, but because it is open source nowadays the age of its core technology doesn’t matter, shouldn’t be used against it? To some degree, I can accept that, sure.

Maybe WP's F3 shortcut predated the establishment of F1 as a common standard?
