Feeling very rubbish at the moment, partially thanks to the "good intended" text I've been receiving every few days. I've just finished a blog post, that will go live tomorrow morning, where I mention more about it. I'm just too angry and sad and disappointed right now to go into details about it... 😢 I wish I was making any progress, I wish I didn't still need all the meds that I've been taking (I hate needing them). But without the meds, I would have given up. To be in pain, to be in discomfort, to not get enough sleep, to have a constant headache that makes my tinnitus hear new sounds (through the beeping sounds there's a buzzing sound now as well)... I feel so bad and I want to improve. But I feel like I'm failing because I can't speed up the healing of my very traumatized and bruised hip area. And getting the question every few days if I'm doing better already... It makes me feel like a failure. Sorry, I didn't want to drag anyone down. But I'm struggling and disappointed and angry... I just want the pain to stop, I've had enough of it... 😭... show more

Oh man, this is hard. I'm so sorry you are struggling. I hope there is something kind you can do for yourself. We are sending you all the healing thoughts, love, and dog snuggles.
@Pawpower Fankoos dear 💜 it's definitely hard. I was already struggling loads, and getting another one of those triggering texts... It just blew me up! That is absolutely understandable why the text was upsetting. Healing takes time, it is seldom a straightforward process and being in pain and so limited in your usual activities has mental and emotional impacts which add to an already hard struggle. 💕🧡

How can one be expected to heal and recover from the loss of their bestest friend, when someone asks you every other day "if things are going better without your friend now"? Who would want to rip open that wound for someone, again and again? And every time I tried to explain, both about me missing Arwen and about my health going way too slow for my liking, but that's the way it is when you have loads of trauma and several surgeries in a short time... And then they just don't seem to comprihend the answer that I give them, so they just ask again and again. It's so triggering and now I have had enough. I don't care that they're family, they're not being "supportive and interested and being kind", this feels more like they're bullying me over and over and I have had enough. Surely no #Edmontonian car drivers would ever be so rude (see me choking on my spit). I like to think some #yegbike fans would mete out a kind of justice similarly though. 🤣
Actually, my experience is that most drivers are too courteous. They often stop when they have the clear right of way, not realizing that the car in the next lane isn't going to stop, and making the cyclist feel obliged to cross when it's clearly not safe to do so.

He visto que existen algunas webs como PureAPK o APKMirror. ¿Alguien me podría dar su opinión sobre este tipo de webs o quizás recomendarme alguna web de fiar para descargar instaladores de tipo APK?
Yo uso #FDroid para todo menos alguna app no libre que, por circunstancias X, he decidido instalar. Para ello uso Aurora Store, que es una app libre en F-Droid, que es a su vez una "tienda" que se conecta a Google Play y permite descargar y actualizar aplicaciones de allí. Permite hacerlo sin cuenta (anónimamente), aunque eso a veces me ha dado problemas (supongo que algún _rate limiter_ o algo). Siempre puedes crear una cuenta nueva en Google para ello, si realmente lo necesitas. #AuroraStore
No lo recomiendo a no ser como último recurso. Y SIEMPRE, pasa el apk que descargues por virustotal para asegurarte de que no empaqueta virus, aunque no es 100% seguro.
@moribundo De ahí vienen mis dudas. Evidentemente, instalar una apk es un acto de responsabilidad, y normalmente se debería hacer desde la web del desarrollador o del proyecto, siempre que sean de fiar, criterio que no es 100% efectivo. Mi consulta viene por si había alguna web que tuviese buena reputación para la descarga de apks. Muchas gracias.
F-droid para instalar aplicaciones de software libre. Y desde fdroid te puedes instalar Aurora, que es una interfaz gráfica de la tienda de Google mas "anonimizada" ya que no requiere cuenta de Google. De ahí te puedes instalar la mayoría de aplicaciones de la tienda de Google, a excepción de una que otra aplicación que te exige que uses si o si la play store, pero por fortuna esas son pocas y además el riesgo a nivel de seguridad de las aplicaciones sería exactamente el mismo que instalarlo de la play store. Además la tienda de Aurora te muestra los "rastreadores" que tiene cada aplicación.
En mi caso personal intento instalar casi todo de la tienda de fdroid y las apps propietarias que sean obligatorias uso la tienda de Aurora.
