On the hottest day we had ~40 medical contacts in 7 hours.
People were collapsing at the entrance gates.
Highest temperature recorded was 127.4º out on the tarmac at 1600hrs on Saturday July 13th 2024 (MedicalTent1)

and we didn't have the kestrels out there so that's not heat index - that's just heat.
It was so hot we had several equipment failures including generators (running misters) and our digital thermometers were like "seriously? f.u.!" and failed to register anything but "error".

We are at 95f feels like 101 w/ humidity at 48%. now.

in reply to Rachel 🌎✨🕊️ • • •@RachelA In the 90s, my wife and I moved just outside of Phoenix for a 6-month job and the entire time there I couldn't breathe. I was raised in humidity above 50 in winter and 70 in summer and growing up, we never had air conditioning.
30+ years later and now my lungs are air conditioning dependent.
