i recently heard galloway say something like "i talk to michael saylor every month and tbh i don't know what the fuck he's doing but i guess it's working"
meanwhile his 26 year old co-host was like "crypto is bad, coinbase in the S&P 500 is horrific"
the kids are alright
i really do think there's a phenomenon whereby guys like galloway are obviously kind of sceptical about crypto but they can't be seen as the old fuddy duddy who "just doesn't get it" so they go along with it (which, btw, is literally the plot of "the emperor's new clothes": only the smart and well bred people can see the clothes).
so it is with crypto - lots of boomer finance guys are like "i guess it makes sense?" and meanwhile people like galloway's co-host and 100% of my younger relatives are like "crypto is a scam, duh"
