"Scientists from Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute and South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute adapted commercial germicidal ultraviolet appliances that purify the air with UV-C light rays and deactivate harmful micro-organisms like viruses and bacteria."
“Our study aimed to explore new ways in which to protect aged care residents from harmful outbreaks of viruses, including Covid-19, without disrupting their day-to-day activities,” Professor Rogers said.
“Based on our findings, it’s difficult to see why you wouldn’t install these appliances in aged care facilities.”

Ahmed was born and raised in Gaza. He came to Europe in August 2023, about a month and a half before the war started in October of that year. Members of his family, including his brother and mother, are still in the Palestinian enclave.
“There is no normal life while this situation prevails in Gaza,” he said to Unicorn Riot, calling on the Greek people to support the Initiative and be present on the streets to protest Greece’s support for Israel.

Actually ... just realised why they don't let the oldies outside ... because they could be forgotten and locked out ... not a lot of care in aged care ...
Then there's the fact most infections like gastro outbreaks is from the staff not washing their hands ....and not wearing masks while 'soldiering on' with their own respiratory infections ...
