Update shows expected heights of #tsunami wave along the west coast. Most of the energy appears directed towards southern Oregon / northern California.
This tracks with the apparent direction of the wave energy, which one might discern by the varying heights of the nearest 6 NOAA buoys, specifically DART 214216, a 0.9m wave. See: ndbc.noaa.gov/

ALL OF WAIKIKI is supposed to be evacuated. However, as it was the last time such a threat happened, the best solution is to get above the first 3 floors. There will be too much traffic jams to get out of Waikiki.
