I've seen it before. In all 4 of my grandparents. I know what this is.
I know how this ends. Slowly.
And the worst part: I don't think we'll ever be okay. My mom's not an asshole like my dad. She's an enabler, maybe, but not an asshole. As far as I can tell, she got swept up in the bullshit and isn't one of the ones feeding the flames of abuse. I don't hate her.

I don't know who needs to hear this but the following things are already arrestable offenses in most states:
- warrantless entry
- unreasonable search and seizure
- deporting a US citizen from the US
- operating in restricted areas like schools, churches, and hospitals without express permission
- trespassing
- kidnapping
You could totally arrest ICE agents right the fuck now for any and all of these crimes. You won't. But you could.
Arrest for warrantless entry?
That's a fantasy. It's illegal, sure. One can fight it in court eventually, but an arrest? Won't happen.
LEOs and ICE are working as agents of the state. No others would arrest their brothers and sisters.
