Duda, que seguro que por aquí sabéis: se me acaba el contrato de hosting de Galerías Preciados, tengo tres meses todavía pero bueno.
El tema: estoy bastante descontento en mi servicio actual por el tema de la federación, les he tratado de explicar por activa y pasiva mil veces como funciona ActivityPub y lo que han hecho es bloquearme casi todo.
Me gustaría cambiar de hosting, ¿alguien que use WordPress con ActivityPub que me pueda recomendar alguno que tire bien?

in reply to editora con carrito • • •@editora pues justo es uno de los que tenía echado el ojo, de precios me encaja y tiene buena pinta. El tema básicamente es que conectando el ActivityPub llegan muchas peticiones y hay veces que esto genera incompatibilidades con un sistema de seguridad propio de Apache. Hay al parecer una forma de solucionarlo pero en CDMon se empeñan en preguntarme si esas IPs de las que llegan las peticiones son "conocidas".
Que no tronco, que no va de eso, te lo estoy explicando...

in reply to Phil Spectrum • • •Acabáramos, que estás en CDMon, no me digas más... Sal de ahí en cuanto puedas (me sabe mal ser tan categórica, pero con ellos me llevé la decepción de primer amor de servidores, que todo era maravilloso, hasta que dejó de serlo).
Antes @brucknerite ha comentado que él tiene su WP con Activity Pub precisamente en Lucushost, así que no tendrás problemas.
Y tirando para lo mío, si usas mi link de afiliada, me haces un favor (si no, no pasa, nada, claro, pero todo suma) 😀

in reply to Phil Spectrum • • •@brucknerite Probé tb Siteground en su día y era caro para lo que ofrecían. Es que a mí las dos copias de seguridad diarias de Lucushost me dan una paz mental que no tiene precio.
Además responden muy rápido y me han ayudado a instalar cosas rarunas, cuando en realidad no es tarea suya, así que más contenta no puedo estar.
