Working on guide dog puppy discipline includes impulse control. Here I'm teaching Quintin that he only gets the reward (in this case, the rope toy thrown) when he sits. I won't try to snatch it off him. If he drops it nicely he gets a treat. But if he tries to start tugging I drop it.

After a sunny and quite hot weekend, the weather drastically turned toward fall. It has been raining nearly non-stop, and it has cooled down significantly. The forest shows vibrant, dark greens and the first yellow leaves. The leaves and tree trunks are glistening from the rain. Mila does not like getting wet, but she's still very happy to be out and about: there are so many interesting scents to explore!
