En este encuentro debatiremos sobre el tema que domina la agenda actual:
¿Inteligencia Artificial? Debate sobre Algoritmos, Trabajo y Soberanía Tecnológica
El auge de los algoritmos generativos, mal llamados "Inteligencia Artificial", nos interpela y nos invita a pensar críticamente sobre el impacto real de estas herramientas en el mundo del trabajo y en nuestra soberanía tecnológica.
Buscamos compartir una visión alternativa a la narrativa dominante, poniendo en común miradas que proponen un desarrollo tecnológico centrado en las personas y las comunidades para así reflexionar que rol cumple en un proyecto de soberanía regional.
Para ello, nos acompañarán:
🔹Colectivo IA4Coops Presentando su enfoque de soluciones pensadas para acompañar y potenciar a los equipos de trabajo, no para reemplazarlos.
🔹 La insuficiencia artificial Compartiendo su análisis desde el Polo Técnico de Izquierda para el encuentro «Tecnologías para un nuevo mundo».

in reply to lmorchard's links • • •I just keep thinking - who's asking for this stuff? Some of this current era of gen AI is really very useful. But so much of it reads like "we bought all this peanut butter so everything is peanut butter flavored now" press releases aimed at investors, fully ignoring how many folks are allergic to peanuts. It's really frustrating to me as someone who likes making computers do handy things. Really feels like "only the metrics care" gets more true over time

in reply to bentendo • • •Yeah, pedantically: Zork and Infocom were popular in particular because they had a parser that upgraded from rigid "TAKE ROCK" to more natural things like "open mail box, take leaflet, then read it" in their parser.
But still, even Zork wasn't perfect and Infocom were really pushing the limits. Kind of exception-proves-rule territory. "trying to guess what to type to make something happen is a terrible and exhausting user interface" - still a good point, IMO
