Itโs unbelievable that Windows 11 does not recognize that I removed OneDrive and ms Teams. After one simple update or reboot, it always comes back. The CPU is constantly running at 100%, and I donโt have anything open except for Task Manager. This laptop is less than 24 hours old, and Iโm already preparing to switch back to Pop!_OS in the next few days. I knew that Windows was terrible, but even after de-bloating the OS, I donโt feel or see a difference. #Windows11 #PopOS #linux
@european No, I donโt want Windows; I havenโt used it for years, except at work. Iโm happy with Pop!_OS. I know there are millions of things I can do to improve Windows, but itโs just not my operating system. If you have to tinker so much with an OS to make it a bit less CPU-hungry, then itโs not worth it.
Today on my early-morning walk I finally saw some snowdrops and crocuses. Usually by this time my primroses would be blooming and there would be daffodils everywhere. We're having such a late spring after all the polar vortices.

im not familiar with the internals at all but VRAM is only used for tasks that a graphic card does, and so it'd be used for stuff like accelerating and rendering it but actually having that terminal session running.
ghostty is packaged on void linux t his is insane record breaking i've been looking for a gtk4 terminal in the void repos that isn't gnome console for so long
i want to be upset at this uniquely gnome issue because of their opposition to server side decorations but the title bar actually serving a purpose in applications and looking nice is too good
