Hana is one of those groups that appeared more in on-trend compilations than on releases of their own. Omen was this duo's second and to my knowledge final release; members Anisa Romero and Jeff Greinke have gone on to other musical and non-musical artistic pursuits.
Sitting at the junction of #downtempo and #DreamPop, they're pretty much a no-brainer to be in my collection. This kind of #ethereal music with just a dash of a quasi- #tribal #electronica has the danger of falling into cliche - sort of a poor manβs #DeadCanDance - but among hundreds of similar offerings on #CDbaby at the time, this release stood out.
