Last fall, and again a couple of weeks ago, I've had series of unexplained flat rear tires where I come out to find the inner tube deflated without any sign of a problem the last time I rode and don't find a classic puncture when I fix it.

I didn't realize it, but new bicycle tires have totally removable stems inserts. (I don't know why, LOL). I was finding one of my tires completely deflated all the time because one of those stems was not fully screwed in. (I also managed to completely deflate my tire by accident trying to inflate the tire, because the stem unscrewed after I inflated the tire... many times).
