If the village would take possession and raze that unfit for human habitation abandoned house that has more than a dozen raccoons and feral cats in it next door them we wouldn't have this problem as bad.
It's been vacant since 2014, no one has paid property taxes, the roof has fallen in, storms have battered the windows, thieves have stripped the wiring and metals, And the village and county has every right and the responsibility to deal with it. The owner died and the bank walked away.
