The Last Days of Gaza

The genocide is almost complete. When it is concluded it will not only have decimated the Palestinians, but will have exposed the moral bankruptcy of Western civilization.

14th June

A storm is coming
There’s a weight to the wind
Warmed and thickened
Like the melting of chocolate
Sweetened by elder
And the softness
of strawberry hill
My heron, my love
Stands tall in the buttercups
Still by the side
Of the bright silver stream
Swifts in great number
Slice through the morning air
Like scythes through the meadow
Over the green fields they fly
Into a darkening sky
And high up above them
A consoling raven
Sings her low song
To the gentle rain

in reply to Europe Says

this is just another reminder that, as hard as it is to believe, the UK is a bigger joke than the USA! to be able to travel freely, to do business freely, to be in any part of the Schengen area with just a smile, all given up because the racist majority in the UK were afraid a few Africans might make it to England from the southern parts of the EU. Of course those very immigrants are what is keeping the UK (and EU) economy afloat these days...

His name is Simon Kjaer. He is an international Danish footballer and Milan player.
He is not a global star, he does not have gold shoes and huge personal following, nor is he one of the most expensive players in the world.
But `he went into the history of the sport, as a modern super hero. First he saved his teammate, Chris Eriksen, who fell unconscious on the field, giving him first aid in critical first seconds..
He then asked his teammates to form a ′′ shield ′′ of protection around his fallen co-worker to protect him from flash cameras and shocking highlights trending across social media.
As a captain and friend he took the time to go to the stand and give courage to the wife of the unfortunate Eriksen, who was shocked to see the husband and father of her two children, fighting for his life, As captured in the photo below.
Dear parent, starting today, don't pray for your son or daughter to be a young Messi or Ronaldo. Please become a Simon Kjaer !

Hello fediverse,

I believe I remember viewing a GitHub repository containing a FreeCAD workbench facilitating designing for 3D printing. It included tools to generate features around holes for example, like the teardrop horizontal hole, the vertical pocketed hole, etc.

No amount of googling seems to bring it back to me so either I misremember (probable), or I’m bad at googling (also probable).

Can you help me? 🙏🏻

Yesterday I suggested Gavin Newsom described his 10 June convo w/Trump, "I would love to share with you what we actually talked about. That would send shivers up your spine," he was warning Trump and begging to be forced to turn it over, not saving it for a book.www.emptywheel.net/2025/06/13/t...

This post, from his press office, makes it pretty clear that's precisely what was going on (the next linked tweet clips that video).

It seems like the PeerTube donations have exceeded your expectations and has almost reached the livestream goal (€55,000 euros). It just needs a little more push!

(Just wanted to remind you of how the donations go. Very exciting!)
