I guess that's why I like retro stuff. Its a fixed point of reference, it never moves or changes, and its simple enough that you can wrap your head around it. Human beings made the 8086. They taped it out with physical tape. I can understand it. I can control it.
There's not a lot in the modern world that I feel the same way about.

I think the biggest tragedy of American culture is that we don't have any WITHOUT relationships to capital.
Even our home grown Christian sects are based around prosperity gospel or a protestant work ethic.
Historically all imported cultural traditions are here because of material conditions and work opportunities. (Maybe an exception for Jews escaping persecution).
And looking at the ethics and priorities of the American founding fathers it's obvious that capital has always been the crux of our culture. All the nonsense about freedoms and liberties were simply the correct things to say in the moment. Did you honestly believe they believed these truths to be self evident for everyone? Or the select few.

Glad that you're up and running. Yeah, the reset circuit on the clock module is running pretty close to tolerances. It should auto-reset on powerup, but doesn't always do that. Backplane reset button will always work.
